Kitchen is a very dynamic area in our house. Everything must mix well together in the prevailing design. The color, lightings, designs, countertops, appliances and even the windows must become one to give a relaxing and fine ambience in your cooking sessions.
Most of the time, the windows comes last since the ne I mentioned above comes first in the design. So to have a great kitchen area, consider the following kitchen window treatment ideas:
• Kitchen size – Choose smaller prints and lighter colors for small windows. Use accents carefully. A drape over the window creates a great look, but it might consume a lot of space and make your kitchen window look absurdly tiny.
• Window size – Use a swag or a valance from which to suspend curtains. You can make use of ruffled curtains to generate a lovely country look. Go for the more structured tailored look and add a few accents like a colorful tieback, if you want it plain.
• Privacy – If you wish for more privacy but want to let in light, decide to use sheer printed curtains or louvered blinds. Try also Roman blinds; it works well or half-panel curtains that only coat a portion of the kitchen window.
• Light – choose the treatments that will suit the need for your light to come in.
